Markus Ruhl’s new video ‘Big And Loving It’ is shipping in English now, after a long wait.
Probably the best filmed and entertaining bodybuilding video you will see, it’s full of proper hardcore training and humour.
I haven’t seen it personally, but the clips look fun. Markus Ruhl’s previous videos are definitely the *best* bodybuilding videos made….I’m looking forward to my copy of the ‘Big And Loving It’ soon!
Flex Wheeler whatever happened to him?

We’ve not heard from the awesome Flex Wheeler for some time.
Always finishing 2nd, Flex wheeler never did quite make Mr Olympia which is a shame with his awesome genetics.

Jay does it again. The man that sets his alarm clock for 2AM so he can wake up and drink protein, then go back to sleep – sounds crazy but he’s won it again.
Ronnie Coleman finished 4th and retired from competition.
Sadly my hero Markus Ruhl did not place. Better luck next time Markus.

Nasser El Sonbaty – what happened to him?

Big in the 1990s, Nasser El Sonbaty reached No.2 status at Night of The Champions and was on course for possibly being a regular at the Olympia…but he stopped?!?!
Seems Nasser was written off prior to his big wins in the 90s, wether he injected a truckload of drugs and changed his training, he became one of the most amazing freaky bodybuilders of all time.
Nasser come back!
WHatever happened to Mike Francois?

Big Mike Francois was a nice guy – and a top bodybuilder. But he was gravely sick with a colon problem in the mid-90s.
Nowadays he runs his own fitness and consulting company. And has run his own bodybuilding show, is a regular judge and all round busy guy.
Can you get cancer from growth hormone?

It appears there are reports that Dennis Newman pictured above blames GH for his leukemia. Studies also indicate children with growth hormone deficiency and use gH also have a higher incidence of cancer.
Interesting reading, I wonder about Sly Stallone and his recent bust for gH which ended in a $5K fine. No wonder he made a new Rocky film and is making another Rambo film in Thailand at the age of 60…gH is the youth drug.
Markus Ruhl video delayed

The new Markus Ruhl video has been delayed.
I am really disappointed about this, as Made In Germany is a fantastic training video with some good humour.
We hope that the release is soon, and Markus continues to stay healthy and train hard. I still feel he has the potential to be the next Mr Olympia if he can sort out his triceps which are out of balance with the rest of his arms.

The showdown for the Arnold Classic 2007 took place in Columbus, Ohio on March 2nd.
Victor Martinez, 1st
I was really disappointed to see my hero Markus Ruehl finish so low in 9th place, I thought he looked excellent although he just can’t get his tricep to fill out, I guess that is genetics.
Markus was over looked again and finished 9th. He should score more points for freakyness. This is what bodybuilding is about.
